Ride in County Down

County Down is where its happening at the moment for urban action sports! All the below facilities have been built since 2018...

Ards Pump track

This track was built as part of the new Ards Blair Mayne Leisure centre, completed in 2018. It was the first tarmac pump track in the area. Its popular with bikers and scooter riders alike and can get pretty busy at weekends. We do regular meets here so get in touch to find out when our next one is.

Thunder Park
A fantastic indoor skatepark operated by our good friend and BMX Veteran Matt Gillespie. Awesome variety of ramps including a resi and foam pit. Ideal for any biker to develop their jumping skills. We usually have several events with the the guys from Thunder throughout the year, usually completely free to members so get in touch for more info.

Killinchy Pump Track
Opened in March 2021 this was the first pump track in Ireland by world renowned builder Velosolutions. Killinchy might seem a bit out of the way for some but its only 25mins from Belfast. The track is located next to the Community Hall on the Beechvale Road. We absolutely love this track and have regular visits and skills sessions here.

Comber Skate Park
A nicely flowing skate park in Mucker's Field/Park Way Comber. This was the first skate park in Ireland by Fearless Ramps, a company run by riders and skaters making quality bespoke skate parks. This skatepark is ideal for riders with some previous experience and offers plenty of opportunities for progression. Users should park at Parkway football pavilion and walk along the path running beside the pitches, then across the footbridge. We meet here regularly so get in touch for details.

Portavogie Skate Park
Another nicely flowing skate park by Fearless Ramps, a company run by riders and skaters making bespoke skate parks. Its quite open and perfectly designed for beginners or riders looking to improve their freestyle skills.
