Lisburn Summer Series 2018 Round 3
And
that’s a wrap for 2018....... Sunday was the third and last of the
Lisburn Summer Series, and what a day it was ! Thankfully the sun was
shining on us, unlike yesterday when it was originally planned 🌧
Before the racing, the red ribbon was cut on the fantastic facility at Lisburn BMX track.
The racing was fantastic, with a record breaking 106 riders entered
for a club race, it was great to see a mix of abilities from as young
as 3 years old. After the recent success of the BMX fundamentals
a few novice categories were added, and they proved every bit as
exciting as the seasoned riders. Definitely some great little racers in
there for 2019. Thanks to Lisburn BMX Club
for the great event, organising a BBQ, sweets, and great trophies. The
kids all left happy with big smiles all round. Well done everyone,
time for the awards and onto training for 2019............
